Savarino served as the general contractor for the construction of 20 new townhomes in Jamestown. The Appleyard Terrace Townhomes project replaced a blighted urban area and was designed for large families.

Funding included Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, local HOME and Community Development Block Grants, and a loan from the New York State Housing Trust Fund.
