65 Abbott | Buffalo
Owner: Savarino Companies
Project Start: 2018
Project Completion: 2020
Savarino Companies rehabilitated the former St. Agatha’s School at 65 Abbott Street, transforming the three-story building into a home for St. Agatha’s Head Start Academy and an artist studio. Built in the mid-1950s and designed by local architect Mortimer J. Murphy, the building reflects the modest character of the parish it once served: a small Italian-American community in South Buffalo’s Triangle neighborhood. Today, the property supports early childhood education and creative work while preserving a piece of neighborhood history.
65 Abbot is managed by Savarino Property Management.
