Hotel Niagara - PH I | Niagara Falls

Savarino Construction Services LLC served as the contractor for the Phase 1 renovations to the former Hotel Niagara in Niagara Falls, NY. This portion of the renovation included roof replacement, abatement, utility service installation, plumbing, electrical, elevator repairs, and historic plaster restoration.

The historic hotel structure, currently abandoned, will be transformed into a 160-room “upper-upscale” hotel with restaurants, lounges, and banquet facilities. USA Niagara Development Corporation has designated Brine Wells Development LLC as the project's owner and developer. The $58.8M project is funded in part by a grant from USA Niagara and an investment in federal and New York State Historic Tax Credits.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel, originally designed by Esenwein & Johnson, first opened in 1923. It hosted guests like Frank Sinatra, Joe DiMaggio, and President Eisenhower.
