Savarino Companies completed a full renovation of the Buffalo Zoo’s historic reptile house, now known as the Donna M. Fernandes Amphibian and Reptile Center. Designed by Foit Albert Associates with construction completed by Savarino Co, the project transformed the aging facility into a modern, state-of-the-art exhibit space. The renovated center features upgraded habitats for reptiles and amphibians and reopened to the public in May 2019 following a year-long closure.
