Buffalo’s 20,000-square-foot transitional housing facility, Homeless Safe Haven Residences, provides 16 single-occupancy rooms and shared living, dining, and bathing spaces. Funding came from the US Department of Housing, New York State Housing Assistance, and the John R. Oishei Foundation.

Savarino managed construction as the project’s general contractor.
