Reed Library was transformed into a flexible, collaborative academic commons designed to support student success and reflect evolving trends in higher education. Savarino Companies is contributing to the multi-phase renovation that reimagines the 42,500-square-foot I.M. Pei–designed building, originally constructed in 1969, into a student-centered environment with zoned study spaces, integrated support services, and technology-enabled learning areas.

The project modernized the facility while preserving its architectural significance, balancing quiet and active zones, enhancing navigability, and aligning with the university’s long-term strategic goals.
