This LEED Silver–certified project reimagined the 1968 I.M. Pei–designed Rockefeller Arts Center through 60,000 square feet of new construction and 40,000 square feet of interior renovation. Savarino Companies served as Construction Manager, supporting a transformative update that expanded academic arts programming and modernized facilities while honoring the campus’s architectural legacy. Savarino served as the general contractor for the project.

The new west-facing addition reoriented the building’s circulation with a contemporary entrance, café, studios, classrooms, and a connector to Mason Hall. Interior renovations upgraded performance spaces, studios, and production areas, creating a unified home for dance, theater, and visual arts programs in one of SUNY Fredonia’s most iconic campus landmarks.
