Savarino was retained by People Inc. to provide development services and act as construction manager at risk for the adaptive reuse of the historic former Our Mother of Good Counsel School into 15 Oakwood Senior Housing. The project included two new additions and the renovation of former classroom space to create 35 affordable senior apartments. Funding was provided by New York State Homes and Community Renewal and federal and NYS Historic Tax Credits.
