Originally built in 1912 as a New York Telephone exchange, 124 Elmwood Avenue was designed by the New York firm McKenzie, Voorhees & Gmelin. Savarino Companies renovated the historic structure into an elementary charter school, which opened in 2005. Today, the building is home to Autism Services, Inc.
